Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American TV presenter, model and actress is an American comedian. When she was in 2012, Angelica Hale was just 4 years old she became very ill with double pneumonia due to a serious strep infective bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston were where she was treated to treat her condition, which was lifesaving ECMO-based life support. The kidneys of her did not heal following the onset of an infection with septicae and eventually had numerous organ failure. It was then a routine of hemodialysis followed by peritoneal dilution. After an 80-day hospital stay, Angelica was almost dead after which she began a journey towards recovery. After a year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the biggest surgery of her life-her kidney transplant. The donor kidney would come from her mom. Angelica, along with her mother, went through a successfully kidney transplantation on September 13th 2013 in two amazing hospitals that were located right next to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale's desire to become a superstar has never wavered.
